Liskeard Farmers Market, Second and fourth Friday of the month

Menheniot Farmers market, Second Saturday of each Month, A monthly event for South East Cornwall: quality local produce including meats, bread, cakes, preserves, chutney, honey, fruit and vegetables. Refreshments served throughout the morning.

Easter Fun at Eden 6th- 25th April. Join us for a fun-packed day out this spring, at our farm-themed Easter event! We’ve got lots of new indoor and outdoor games and activities for the whole family to try out.

Take part in a Golden Egg hunt with a difference and gather up eggs from the egg coop.

Challenge friends and family to our giant scramble course to get some farmyard animals safely back in their pens.

Plus – pick up special Easter prizes and chocolate treats to enjoy during your visit.

Cornwall Spring flower show 6th – 7th April, Named by The Sunday Telegraph as one of the best flower shows to visit in the UK, this celebration of Cornwall’s rich garden heritage takes place in the magnificent grounds of Boconnoc House, and features show gardens, trade stands and competitive classes.

St Endellion Easter Music festival 13th– 21st April This festival has made a specialty of English language performances of the Bach Passions.  The intensity in the church’s intimate setting is a musical experience not to be missed.

Porthleven food festival 26th  -28th April, Helston. The festival takes place in the picturesque harbour town of Porthleven, West Cornwall, expect all day cooking demos, food and craft stalls surrounding the harbour, music, dancing, performances, music, art and cooking workshops.

Fowey Festival of Art and Literature 10th– 18th May Vibrant annual festival of events, exhibitions, workshops, guided walks and river cruises.

Bude and Stratton folk festival 24th– 27th May . Bude & Stratton Folk Festival is small friendly and very welcoming. It is held in the picturesque surroundings of Bude and nearby Stratton in North Cornwall on the late May Bank Holiday weekend. The Festival always welcomes a wide range of talented guest performers. This year these include internationally known folk artists such as Jim Causley, Jackie Oates and Liam Robinson. We are delighted also to welcome school children from Bude Junior School, who will give a dance display on Saturday morning and local morris sides, who will be dancing during the weekend.  Festival goers can participate in a variety of workshops, open mic stages, music sessions and sing arounds.

Fal River Festival 24thMay – 2nd June This fantastic 10 day celebration offers something for everyone, with over 100 events showcasing creative talent from the worlds of art, music, food, theatre, film, adventure & more.

Dick V Dom at the Eden Project 25thMay – 1st June. Expect all the usual Dick and Dom shenanigans, fun activities for all the family, an amazing live Dick and Dom show daily, and of course… BOGIES!!!! Dick and Dom will be on stage every day during half-term, all included in Eden admission.

The show is a unique comedy experience the whole family will never forget. The audience is split in half and the two sides battle it out with interactive games, songs and general insanity. On arrival at Eden families will be assigned to their different teams and enjoy a whole host of fun activities leading up to Dick and Dom’s appearance on stage.

Dick V Dom is a live 60-minute stage adaptation of Dick and Dom in da Bungalow and has proved hugely popular on tour.

Garden Magic on the Mount 27th- 31st May Marazion During May Half Term celebrate the colours that spring brings to the Mount's unique garden. The garden lawn will become a hub of crafty activity as we take inspiration from the colours and patterns of the plants and flowers in the Mount garden.

Royal Cornwall Show 6th– 8th June, Wadebridge. Cornwall’s showcase since 1793 and a fascinating glimpse into rural life. Apart from the livestock judging, there is the famous flower tent, show jumping and a fast and furious inter-hunt relay.

Looe Raft Race 9th June. The great Looe raft race will be taking place again this year. Expect lots of chaos and fun and look out for out Team Treworgey raft.

Falmouth international sea shanty festival 14th– 16th June fantastic free festival of maritime music and a great way to soak up the true atmosphere of Falmouth’s seafaring past with performances by dozens of groups from all the UK and beyond.

Falmouth Classics Regatta 14th– 16th June The  best Classic Boat Rallies comes to Falmouth, Cornwall & coincides with the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. The highlight of the regatta is the Parade of Sail & Power, as competitors

Polperrow Music festival 15th– 22thJune, Polperro. Includes plenty of live music, an arts and crafts fair,comedy night, lighting of the solstice bonfire, colourful village carnival and a unique mock mayor choosing ceremony.

Golowan Festival 21st  – 30th June A traditional boat festival, running in tandem with the well-established and much loved Golowan Festival. Owners and crews of traditional style boats are invited to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

Mevagissey Feast week 23rd– 29thJune A blend of traditional and contemporary events which bring the whole community together and welcomes hundreds of visitors to join the celebrations

Sterts Theater this July 1st– 31stJuly. Enjoy open air performances under cover! Sterts has a large umbrella over stage and audience so you won't get wet!. Great selection of events this July, See their website.

Looe Lugger Regatta 5th– 7th July. This Bi- annual regatta is back in Looe. Traditional luggers, two masted sailing boats once common along the coasts of England and France, head to the Historical port.

Tropical Pressure Festival 12th– 14th July, Truro. Tropical Pressure Festival - Celebrating the rich cultures of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean on the cliffs of Cornwall.

Liskeard Agricultural show 13th July, Merrymeet. Fab day out for all the family, traditional country show (like Royal Cornwall, but smaller!)

Stithians Agricultural show 15th July, Stithians. Musical entertainment, food courts, craft stalls, a fairground, and animals of all sorts including rare breeds, a dog show and dog agility & agility exhibitions, equestrian events - a full day out for the whole family.

Port Eliot festival 25th– 28th July, St Germans. Described as a literary festival, but with the feel of a garden party. Attracts mix of celebs, art lovers, foodies, party animals and book worms

 

Boconnoc Steam Fair 26th– 28th July. An old fashioned steam extravaganza held annually in the magnificent grounds of the Boconnoc Estate. Showcases vintage vehicles including full size and miniature steam engines. 

Charlestown Regatta week 27th July – 2nd August. A week of fun events for all the family including includes events such as the fun triathlon, raft races, donkey derby, live music and colourful carnival to raise funds for the local community.

Looe Carnival week 28th July – 3rd August The highlight of the Looe Lions' calendar with a week of events that appeal to everyone. Entertainment for the whole family is guaranteed as the busy seaside town gears up for seven days of fun.

Treasure Island of Summer Activities 29th July – 4th Marazion Inspired by stories and life on the Mount, both past and present, join a crafty hub of activity and make your own treasure to take home throuout the summer holidays

Falmouth week 9th– 18th August Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days, and a lively programme of shoreside events.

Cornish steam and county fair 16th– 18th August Redruth. Previously know as the West of England Steam Rally. Up to 100 full size and miniature steam engines from all over the country, rural craft displays & children's entertainment. 

Fowey regatta and carnival 18th– 24th August One of the best local regattas in the country, with a fun-filled week for all the family. Events include a midweek Carnival and a spectacular firework display, and the Red Arrows return!

47th Cornwall Folk Festival 22nd – 26thAugust.There's an amazing line up of international, national and local performers coming to Wadebridge this August. Gretchen Peters flies in from the States to headline, whilst all over the town on multiple stages, musicians fill the place with music.  

Newlyn fish festival 26th August. Celebrating all things fishy in Britain’s premier fishing port where you can satisfy your appetite with the best seafood you’re likely to find anywhere and help to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Bude Jazz 27th – 30th August. Bude has been involved in staging jazz festivals for 25 years and is renowned world-wide for its support for the music.
