Titanic Stories 8thMarch2018 – 7thJanuary 2019. Falmouth. A major new exhibition, TITANIC STORIES, examines the stories of the Titanic’s momentous sinking in 1912, re-appraising many of the myths, controversies and assumptions that still linger around one of the most well-known historic events of the 20th century.

The Eden Project always does something extra special during thr school holidays and this summer they are launching their new Space adventure.You will get to be a tourist in the farthest reaches of our galaxy, and enjoy out of this world experiences. Liskeard Unlocked: Heritage Open Days, 13th– 16thSeptember, Liskeard. Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. The town of Liskeard opens it's doors over four days in September.

Falmouth Oyster Festival 11th– 14thOctober. Packed with cookery demonstrations by leading local chefs, oysters, seafood, wine and local ale, sea shanties, and marquees brimming with Cornish produce.

Etsy Made Local 30thNovember, Plymouth The most talented artisan and craft makers from Plymouth and the surrounding areas will be bringing their best products to sell at this event, and we will be providing a perfect festive atmosphere with live music and mulled wine, hot drinks and food will be available to purchase.

Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair 28thNovember – 2ndDecember. The Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair is returning to Truro's Lemon Quay Piazza once again. There will be over 90 traders attending who have all been awarded the prestigious 'Made In Cornwall' status, meaning their items have been certified by Trading Standards as being genuinely made in the county.

Padstow Christmas Festival 6th– 9thDecember Embrace the festive season with a trip to Padstow’s annual Christmas Festival and see this Cornish fishing village come alive with celebrity chefs, culinary delights and festive fun.  

Light switch on in Looe 7th December. Processions start - Rose Garden & Millpooltwo processions from East & West Looe - starting at the Millpool & Rose Garden meeting at the bridge and then on to the Quayside Centre for the carol service.

Santas Arrival in Looe 8th December This year Santa will be arriving in Looe on Saturday 8thDecember. Santa arrive at Looe Station on the Santa Special at 2.55pm. He will lead a procession pulled by his reindeer through the town finishing at Santa’s Grotto outside the Harbour Office. There will be stalls, children’s entertainment, bouncy castle and a Reptiles and Raptors display in the Harbour Car Park – 12 noon until 7pm.

The Winter Gift Fayre 12th– 20thDecember, Lemon Quay Truro. Building on from what was the Victorian Christmas Market The Winter Gift Fayre aims to become one of Cornwall’s most well-known Christmas events, with theming that encapsulates the spirit of winter magic and Christmas festivities with evergreens, natural wood and warm twinkling lights.

The Winter Gift Fayre will offer quality products throughout, visitors will enjoy a wonderful selection of craft, jewellery, art, food, drink and much more.

The Mousehole Lights, 17thDecember – 7th  January. The Christmas lights in Mousehole are a stunning sight, with floating displays of lights in the harbour and around the streets that are filled with the aroma of mulled wine and festive food. You’ll see a fantastic display of sea serpents, fishing boats and whales colourfully lighting up one of Cornwall’s most welcoming harbours. They are a must see.


Father Christmas at Lanhydrock Dates to be Confirmed, Lanhydrock.You and your family will have an exclusive audience with Father Christmas and time for a brief chat-he's a busy fellow at this time of year. This is extra on top of the usual entry (free to members) You need to pre book this event on like from the link above.      

New years eve in looe, 31stDecember a fantastic evening where the town comes to life. Fancy dress is a must. With fireworks at 6pm for children on the beach, then adults can see in the new year with a fantastic display at midnight on the beach.
