Liskeard Farmers Market, Second and fourth Friday of the month

Menheniot Farmers' market, Second Saturday of each Month, A monthly event for South East Cornwall: quality local produce including meats, bread, cakes, preserves, chutney, honey, fruit and vegetables. Refreshments served throughout the morning.

Ice skating at Eden, until 18th February.  Eden’s magical ice rink is back for winter with sessions to suit all ages and abilities, including sessions for beginners, ice discos on some Friday evenings and delicious new rink-side food.

St Ives Feast & Hurling the Silver Ball 5th February The feast day starts off with the mayor’s civic procession for the blessing at St Ia Well near Porthmeor Beach followed by the start of the boisterous hurling of the silver ball when participants attempt to win the ball off each other around the town. Whoever returns the ball to the mayor on the steps of St Ives Guildhall on the stroke of midday receives a silver coin. In the afternoon, pennies are proffered from the balcony by town councilors to the waiting children on the Guildhall forecourt.

Half Term fun at Eden 10th- 18th  February. Get ready for a prehistoric adventure of epic proportions at Eden this half Term.

World Pasty Championships at Eden 3rd  March, The Eden Project. The World Pasty Championships celebrate the traditional Cornish pasty recipe, as well as some more unusual varieties.

Explosive Easter at Flambards. 24th March – 15th April. Younger visitors can enjoy experiments, explosions and a chocolate egg trail as part of an action-packed Easter at Flambards Theme Park.

St Endellion Easter Music festival 1st – 8th April This festival has made a specialty of English language performances of the Bach Passions.  The intensity in the church’s intimate setting is a musical experience not to be missed.

Historical Garden Tours at Heligan, 3rd April. Experienced Heligan Tour Guide David Hogg invites you to join him for an in depth tour of the Gardens. Cornwall Spring flower show7st – 8th April,Named by The Sunday Telegraph as one of the best flower shows to visit in the UK, this celebration of Cornwall’s rich garden heritage takes place in the magnificent grounds of Boconnoc House, and features show gardens, trade stands and competitive classes.

Porthleven food festival 20th  -22nd  April, Helston.The festival takes place in the picturesque harbour town of Porthleven, West Cornwall, expect all day cooking demos, food and craft stalls surrounding the harbour, music, dancing, performances, music, art and cooking workshops.

Bude and Stratton folk festival25th – 28th May . Bude & Stratton Folk Festival is small friendly and very welcoming. It is held in the picturesque surroundings of Bude and nearby Stratton in North Cornwall on the late May Bank Holiday weekend. The Festival always welcomes a wide range of talented guest performers. This year these include internationally known folk artists such as Jim Causley, Jackie Oates and Liam Robinson. We are delighted also to welcome school children from Bude Junior School, who will give a dance display on Saturday morning and local morris sides, who will be dancing during the weekend.  Festival goers can participate in a variety of workshops, open mic stages, music sessions and sing arounds.

Fal River Festival 25th May – 3rd June This fantastic 10 day celebration offers something for everyone, with over 100 events showcasing creative talent from the worlds of art, music, food, theatre, film, adventure & more.

Saltash Regatta and waterside festival9th – 10th June. Saltash Regatta is one of the most colourful waterside festivals in South East Cornwall. You will find gig rowing events as well as entertainment on the shore.

Falmouth international sea shanty festival 22nd – 24th  June fantastic free festival of maritime music and a great way to soak up the true atmosphere of Falmouth’s seafaring past with performances by dozens of groups from all the UK and beyond.

Golowan Festival 15th  – 24th June A traditional boat festival, running in tandem with the well-established and much loved Golowan Festival. Owners and crews of traditional style boats are invited to come and enjoy the atmosphere.

Polperrow Music festival16th – 24th June, Polperrow. Includes plenty of live music, an arts and crafts fair, comedy night, lighting of the solstice bonfire, colourful village carnival and a unique mock mayor choosing ceremony.

Murdoc Day 16th June, Redruth. Redruth's annual celebration of its most famous citizen, inventor William Murdoch. The programme of events includes children's dance and art procession, all day music and entertainment, street market, old tyme fair and much more. 

Falmouth Classics Regatta 22nd – 24th  June The  best Classic Boat Rallies comes to Falmouth, Cornwall & coincides with the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. The highlight of the regatta is the Parade of Sail & Power, as competitors

Liskeard Agricultural show 14th July, Merrymeet. Fab day out for all the family, traditional country show (like Royal Cornwall, but smaller!)

Stithians Agricultural show 16th July, Stithians. Musical entertainment, food courts, craft stalls, a fairground, and animals of all sorts including rare breeds, a dog show and dog agility & agility exhibitions, equestrian events - a full day out for the whole family.

Camborne Show 21st  July  Agricultural Show with competitions, attractions, craft and general sales, refreshments and live entertainment

Charlestown Regatta week 21st  – 27th July. A week of fun events for all the family including includes events such as the fun triathlon, raft races, donkey derby, live music and colourful carnival to raise funds for the local community.

Port Eliot festival 26th – 29th July, St Germans. Described as a literary festival, but with the feel of a garden party. Attracts mix of celebs, art lovers, foodies, party animals and book worms

Boconnoc Steam Fair27th – 29th July. An old fashioned steam extravaganza held annually in the magnificent grounds of the Boconnoc Estate. Showcases vintage vehicles including full size and miniature steam engines. 

St. Endellion Summer Music festival 31st July – 10th August. Internationally famous festival. Symphony orchestra and a chorus of 75, with guest artistes, encompasses the classics from Brahms to Stravinsky, music from Broadway and late night brass band.

Looe Carnival week 30th July – 5th August The highlight of the Looe Lions' calendar with a week of events that appeal to everyone. Entertainment for the whole family is guaranteed as the busy seaside town gears up for seven days of fun.

Falmouth week 10th – 19th August Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days, and a lively programme of shoreside events.

Cornish steam and county fair 17th – 19th August Redruth. Previously know as the West of England Steam Rally. Up to 100 full size and miniature steam engines from all over the country, rural craft displays & children's entertainment. 

Fowey regatta and carnival 19th – 25th August One of the best local regattas in the country,with a fun-filled week for all the family. Events include a midweek Carnival and a spectacular firework display, and the Red Arrows return!

46th Cornwall Folk Festival 23rd – 27th August.There's an amazing line up of international, national and local performers coming to Wadebridge this August. Gretchen Peters flies in from the States to headline, whilst all over the town on multiple stages, musicians fill the place with music.

Newlyn fish festival 26th August Celebrating all things fishy in Britain’s premier fishing port where you can satisfy your appetite with the best seafood you’re likely to find anywhere and help to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Bude Jazz28th – 31st August. Bude has been involved in staging jazz festivals for 25 years and is renowned world-wide for its support for the music.

South East Cornwall Walking Festival. 8th – 15th September, Looe & Polperro. Join like-minded people for an established walking festival that takes in seaside villages, rural hamlets, wooded valleys and high moorland. 

Looe Music Festival 21st – 23rd September . The last of the summer festivals in a dramatic, magical location. Visit for the day, or stay all weekend. Acts to be announced.
