Christmas and New Year at Treworgey
A Traditional Country Christmas
Treworgey is magical at Christmas with lights twinkling in the trees outside and real trees waiting in every cottage. You'll find mulled local apple juice, homemade mince pies and Christmas goodies waiting for you and we have a special menu of home-made Christmas delights from Coombe Kitchen available for the festive season. You can order everything from the full Christmas dinner to buffet food, mince pies or puddings - delicious!
We have some fantastic local Christmas events in December, from the Christmas market in Truro to the beautiful craft fairs and events at our local National Trust properties. The Eden Project too has special festive events, including an outdoor ice rink. The Polperro fisherman's choir are a joy to hear on Christmas Eve as are the services in several ancient local village churches.
Celebrate New Year
Looe is famous as THE place to spend New Year's Eve! The streets explode with the spectacular fancy dress – even the restaurants have their own themes. The harbour and boats are lit up and the celebrations end with a superb firework display over the picturesque harbour.
Once again you can have homemade food without cooking here at Treworgey as Coombe Kitchen can deliver a New Year's feast right to your cottage.
Short breaks at New Year
We are now offering short breaks over New Year in one bedroom cottages only (excluding Lois) for £630.
