Weddings at Treworgey

Treworgey is a truly unique setting for a winter or spring wedding reception. While we don't really advertise as a ‘wedding venue’, we have had a handful of magical weddings here for people who fell in love with Treworgey and its spectacular views whilst staying in our cottages.

If you want a wedding that is entirely bespoke, and which will have the kind of friendly support that only a small family business can give, Treworgey might just be for you.  We have a perfect spot that you can hire for a spring marquee wedding for around 80 overlooking the river valley, or you can book an intimate spring or winter wedding for up to about 30 people people inside our beautiful Georgian farmhouse.

Duloe’s Fifteenth Century St Cuby’s Church is just a mile and a half away, and there are many other lovely churches nearby.  If you prefer a civil ceremony, we recommend the beautiful Guild Hall in Looe -  just  3 miles from Treworgey.

We'd love to discuss your ideas and designs - drop Holly an email: holly@treworgeycottages.co.uk to talk more.

Our one bedroom cottages...

What our brides and grooms have to say

"Geoff's Barn is beautiful and we spend quite a lot of time in the gardens which are also beautiful. Thank you so much Jo, Alec and all the staff, you are truly lovely people and we can't wait to come back next year for our honeymoon." SHEILA & ALEX BLACKBURN
"1st visit to Treworgey. Wow what a beautiful place. We are on our honeymoon and this place is so tranquil, just what we need. Endless places to visit. Everything you could possibly want to relax and enjoy, without looking at the clock once. We'll be back soon." TINA & STUART WILSON
"Think this was our 9th (?) visit to Treworgey but only our 2nd to Hollyhock (the first being our honeymoon 15 yrs ago!). A lovely way to spend our anniversary. The cottage is every bit as wonderful as we remembered it. Wish we could pick it up and take it home with us!!" ANN & HANES WHITLOCK
"We really appreciated all the thoughtful and welcoming things that greeted us -from seeing our name up on the door as we arrived to finding flowers from the garden around the place and of course the chocolates and champagne! We are feeling totally relaxed, rested and very very happy! I am sure we will enjoy many second honeymoons here in future!" TOM & CLAIRE CRUMBLEHOLME
"We have had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. Everything you think you will need is here -you have thought of everything. Buildings are beautiful, set in stunning scenery & you've all been so helpful. Thanks a million! Best wishes." KATE & DAVID (MR&MRS!LAUDER)
"It's been perfect! From the signs with our new name guiding us in to the first sight of the cottage - it's been so peaceful and quiet we've felt like the only people in the world." MR AND MRS HEARN
"We searched for somewhere really special to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and struck gold. Treworgey is a haven in a mad world and you can somehow feel the love that has gone into the conversion of the cottages and the on going hard work to make it such a special place. Thank you all for your foresight in creating this wonderful place and the thoughtful touches which have made our stay so special." MR ANDMRS FAULKNER
"Another pair of Honeymooners and we have had the most wonderful week. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous cottage and we look forward to sampling all of the other cottages over the coming years. Thanks for making our honeymoon so perfect!!" CHARLOTTE & MIKE FORD
"Thank you for a heavenly honeymoon -it couldn't have been better. Everything is impeccably thought out and laid out. We will have so many happy memories to give us a splendid start to our married life. The combination of Cornwall and Treworgey is stunning, a total hit." MARY MARCELLA & TOM SYKES
"There really is no more fitting place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary, after all we spent our honeymoon here. More than a place to stay for holidays, it has a heart and soul." LYNDA & DEN O'CONNOR
