A new find in Liskeard

Written by Zoë Snowdon

Lats week we discovered a magical little garden in the middle of Liskeard!

We walked into Stuart House (a lovely medieval townhouse on Barras street) and right through into a peaceful flower-filled space with fountains, little box hedges and bay trees, beautiful roses and tables for enjoying a cuppa from the little cafe. It's all cared for lovingly by volunteers. We can't believe we didn't know about this earlier!

Inside you can find out about the house's long history. If you're visiting Liskeard on a warm day, don't miss this!

"A Completely different world to the one we are used to of work & rush!! Thank you so much for this lovely cottage in which we have been able to relax and enjoy. We have been able to sit in the garden, watching the birds feed off the table, the squirrels and the rabbits."
