A new find in Liskeard

Written by Zoë Snowdon

Lats week we discovered a magical little garden in the middle of Liskeard!

We walked into Stuart House (a lovely medieval townhouse on Barras street) and right through into a peaceful flower-filled space with fountains, little box hedges and bay trees, beautiful roses and tables for enjoying a cuppa from the little cafe. It's all cared for lovingly by volunteers. We can't believe we didn't know about this earlier!

Inside you can find out about the house's long history. If you're visiting Liskeard on a warm day, don't miss this!

"Treworgey was everything I imagined and more. So very beautiful, peaceful and happy. When I booked I wanted riding for my younger daughter, idyllic surroundings in a well facilitated cottage, and comfort!"
