A new find in Liskeard

Written by Zoë Snowdon

Lats week we discovered a magical little garden in the middle of Liskeard!

We walked into Stuart House (a lovely medieval townhouse on Barras street) and right through into a peaceful flower-filled space with fountains, little box hedges and bay trees, beautiful roses and tables for enjoying a cuppa from the little cafe. It's all cared for lovingly by volunteers. We can't believe we didn't know about this earlier!

Inside you can find out about the house's long history. If you're visiting Liskeard on a warm day, don't miss this!

"We have lost count of the number of times we have visited Treworgey (think it's about 14!)... Trelawney Barn is the best yet... OUTSTANDING! Even our 21 month old daughter, Theoni, loves it, sleeping an amazing 14 hours on her first night! We will see you again soon ... "
