Local orchard tours and tasting

If you look across the valley from Treworgey, at the far East of your field of view, you'll see a small established orchard, with lots of newly planted apple trees lower down the hill.  This is the home of Ripe Cider.  Cameron and Georgie, a husband-and-wife team, have started a low-intervention, natural cidery just a stone's throw from our cottages.

Georgie and Cameron are now offering orchard tours and guided tastings.  If you're interested in top end natural cider, and learning how it's made, this is a fantastic way to spend a bit of time during your holiday, with peole who are friendly, incredibly passionate and knowledgeable.

Our ciders are made from 100% apples, naturally fermented and aged for a minimum of 16 months. The result is cider that is elegant, expressive, and made for the table - best enjoyed in a wine glass and paired with food.
