Our Second Leyland Supper Club

Written by Holly Kyte

We are delighted - and relieved - to report that our Autumn Feast went swimmingly last week! This was our second ever Leyland Supper Club event: a seasonal feast of food foraged, grown and cooked by Holly (of Treworgey) and foraging expert Emma Gunn.
Leyland Supper Club - autumn feast
A lovely bunch of 22 guests, half staying at Treworgey and half locals, enjoyed wild mushroom pate with dukkha, a squash red Thai curry with bright green Zhoug, Cornish cheeses with various home-made accompaniments, three curious and delicious deserts, and finally, Douglas fir chocolate truffles.

We had a brilliant time foraging, decorating, growing, cooking and hosting, but best of all was seeing everyone enjoy it all so much.

Our next feast will be in the spring. Keep an eye on our Leyland Supper Club page for the next date, or let us know if you'd like to be on the mailing list!

Thanks to Richard Tamblyn for the gorgeous photos.

"I must agree that Treworgey has very much everything you need. It's really fun. I enjoyed: swimming in the pool, the woodland walk at Treworgey (very pretty, and good for den building), curling up by the fire with a good book and getting apple juice from Cornish Orchards."
