8th July -11th September–Superworm’s summer adventure at Lost Garden of Heligan, PL26 6EN (55 mins)

A super adventure is in store this summer with a brand-new trail inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s renowned picture book, Superworm. The trail is created in partnership with brand owners, Magic Light Pictures.        


22nd July - 3rd September – Summer of Play at The Eden Project, PL24 2SG (45 mins)

They have a fun-filled programme which has creativity, imagination and outdoor play at its very heart. This year they have a new adventure playground area, natures playground, set to be one of the biggest outdoor play areas in the southwest.


31st July- 5th August Looe Carnival Week at Looe , PL13 1AE (10 mins)

Many events take place over the week to include; Furry dance, summer run and mini fun run, shelia’s dance show, sand modelling competition, Polperro fisherman’s Choir performance, 3-legged race finishing with the Grand carnival procession.


31st July- National Marine Week Crabbing Competition at Looe Heritage Centre PL13 2BX

Join local marine biologists as they delve into the fascinating life of crabs at the heritage centre. You will need to bring your wooden sustainable crabbing lines and a bucket.


12th August 1-3pm - A Deer Ranger for a Day at Boconnoc PL22 0RG (30 mins)

Join their expert ranger Ian Berry for a deer safari and become a ranger for the day. Hop aboard the tractor trailer for a fun ride to the Boconooc Deer Park where you can learn all about the beautiful deer that live on the estate


13th- 19th August- Fowey Royal Regatta at Fowey, PL23 (40 mins)

The regatta is one of the UK’s best known sailing events with a long history. There are many traditional land-based events including the Carnival procession, fireworks, crab-catching and harbour swim, the giant pasty ceremony and pasty-eating competition, flora dance and the Fowey town band plus other live music throughout the week.


10th September 10.30am-5pm- Looe Food Festival at Buller Quay Looe, PL13 1DX (10 mins)

Fresh produce, cooking demonstrations and live music.
