Kids clubs

Every week in the school holidays we run several fantastic clubs for children at Treworgey (subject to interest, but there is usually plenty of that!).  See below for more details.

In early summer, outside of school holidays, we run out Trotting Tots club for little ones.

Pony clubs

Two afternoons per week, 2-4pm.  £30

A fun-packed two hours where children can learn all about ponies and get hands on practice at grooming and tacking up with lots of pony pampering. They will get to join in with our fantastic mounted games or other riding activities.

Pony Clubs are for children aged 5 years and over.  Children of 5 and 6 years must bring a parent.

You are most welcome to sign up for both pony clubs, but please note that places are limited. Occasionally we may have to restrict children to just one of the two days to ensure that everyone gets to take part.

Forest School

One afternoon per week. £16

Angie Nash, an expert on woodland crafts from basket weaving to animal tracking, runs a weekly two-hour forest school session at Treworgey, exclusively for our young guests.

Trotting Tots

Free. From mid April to mid-July (excluding school holidays) we run our Trotting Tots Club.  This is around an hour where pre-schoolers (5yrs and under) can get to know our ponies, brush them, stroke them or just feel their different textures of fur, skin and mane, followed by pony rides for everyone.   This club is free but please sign up at the office (or call us) by the day before.  Little ones, please bring along a grown-up to help supervise you and to hold you when you're riding.

Guests say...

"Think this was our 9th (?) visit to Treworgey but only our 2nd to Hollyhock (the first being our honeymoon 15 yrs ago!). A lovely way to spend our anniversary. The cottage is every bit as wonderful as we remembered it. Wish we could pick it up and take it home with us!!"
