At last, a chance to truly relax

Our regular guests often tell us that they feel like a weight is lifted from their shoulders as soon as they step out of the car at Treworgey. The panoramic views, the sound of birdsong, the coastal air..

For parents we make a special effort to make sure that you can really relax and enjoy yourselves. Here's how:

Endless entertainment for the kids!

As you'll see on our family pages, there is so much for the kids to do, from exploring the playground, woods and fields to playing with the friendly animals and joining in with our children's clubs.  When they're happy, everyone's happy!

Homemade meals delivered to your door

Put down that knife, pour a glass of wine and let Jane and Hanna do the shopping, chopping and cooking – home-cooked suppers, cakes and afternoon teas can be delivered to your cottage most days from Coombe Kitchen.  See our food page to order.

Babysitting

If you would like a night out without the children, we are usually able to organise a local babysitter for you who we know well and trust. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for current rates.

Local produce stall

We have an honesty-box local produce stall beside the Information Room, stocked by Janice at Lower Killigorrick Farm.  She leaves fantastic bacon, eggs, meats, home-made cakes (when we're lucky!) and useful things like bread and local milk.

Janice also does beautiful veg and meat boxes (with her own organic produce) and irresistible breakfast boxes ready for your arrival.   See the food page for more.

Information room

Sit back on a comfy sofa, by a warm log burner and sip a hot cup of tea  - while you browse the information, books and magazines in our cosy information room. Just a stone's throw from the playroom, this can be a lovely place to relax and admire the view while the kids play within hearing distance.

Our Information Room is stacked with books, maps, timetables, leaflets and personal recommendations about the area. You’ll also find books on Cornwall and local wildlife, as well as magazines and there’s a sofa to sit and peruse and a log burner to keep you cosy. The DVD library, tennis rackets, badminton rackets and board games can also be borrowed from here at any time and we have Treworgey postcards, a small selection of ‘eco’ products (such as washing powder) and bird seed for sale with an honesty box system. Next door you’ll find Janice’s local produce stall stacked with jams, chutneys, her own vegetables and meat and sometimes even her own home-made cakes and ice cream – again available for you to help yourselves and use the honesty box 24 hours a day.

The Info Room has WiFi and a guests’ computer for you to use too. All the cottages also have WiFi for your use. Please bear in mind that we are a long way from the exchange with a rural internet speed.

Relaxation

Treworgey is built for relaxation.  The beds are exquisitely comfortable, the sofas soft, the views breathtaking and the service refreshingly good.

Your private cottage garden will have loungers and garden tables and chairs in summer; in winter there will be logs waiting by the fire, and books filling the shelves in your cottage.  Beside our warm, clear pool you can relax on a sun lounger and admire the stunning views, or settle down in the evening to a film from our DVD library.

Try us once and the chances are you'll never look back.  More than 65% of our guests are returning visitors!
