Daily animal feeding
Every weekday morning we invited children staying at Trewogey to join us for Animal Feeding. Children get to let out the ducks, hand-feed the goats, feed the Kune Kune pig and the chickens, see the rabbits and hold the guinea pigs.
We gather for animal feeding at the little gate leading from the lane into the paddock in front of the main farmhouse (which contains the duck pond area).
Animal feeding is usually at 9am during term-time and 8.30am in school holidays, though please double check the note on your kitchen table on arrival for confirmation.
We encourage everyone to wash their hands after handling animals. We have hand washing faciliites opposite the playground entrance, just outside the 'small animal' area, and in the stable yard.
Animal Antics Club
During school holidays, once a week we invite children to an extended animal feeding session where we get even more involved with the care of the animals. Activities depend on the time of year and might include bathing the pigs, grooming the goats or cleaning out the duck house!

What our visitors have to say:
"Our 22nd visit to Treworgey and we jus thave to keep coming back for more. This time of year is without doubt the most beautiful with all the bluebells, wild garlic and campion in full bloom and all the birds showing off their plumage. For us every time we come here is like winning the lottery. " JANET DIGBY

"Thank you for another relaxing week at Treworgey. Our 3rd visit. Andrew was 6mts old on our las tvisit. Now 6 years, he has made full use of all the 'extras' that Treworgey has to offer. He and his sister can't wait to come back! And with tennis and a swim most days, we've had more exercise than usual -an excuse to indulge in more pasties and clotted cream shortbread!" MARIE, PETE, ANDREW & KATE MINTOFT
"Lois-what a little treasure! Cosy, charming and with a view to die for. Like many others-we wish we could take it home! See you next year," BERYL & KEITH O'CONNELL
"We have lost count of the number of times we have visited Treworgey (think it's about 14!)... Trelawney Barn is the best yet... OUTSTANDING! Even our 21 month old daughter, Theoni, loves it, sleeping an amazing 14 hours on her first night! We will see you again soon ... " LIZ, MARTIN & THEON!
