Daily animal feeding

Every weekday morning we invited children staying at Trewogey to join us for Animal Feeding.  Children get to let out the ducks, hand-feed the goats, feed the Kune Kune pigs and the chickens, see the rabbits and hold the guinea pigs.

We gather for animal feeding at the little gate leading from the lane into the paddock in front of the main farmhouse (which contains the duck pond area).

We encourage everyone to wash their hands after handling animals.  We have hand washing faciliites opposite the playground entrance, just outside the 'small animal' area, and in the stable yard.

Animal Antics Club

During school holidays, once a week we invite children to an extended animal feeding session where we get even more involved with the care of the animals.  Activities depend on the time of year and might include bathing the pigs, grooming the goats or cleaning out the duck house!

What our visitors have to say:

"It may be our 11th (or 12th) visit but Treworgey still weaves its magic. All the troubles and stress falls away as we drive up the lane. By the time we have taken our cream tea out of the fridge we can't remember what we were worrying about. I just love it here. Can't wait to come back. Thanks Linda, Bevis, Jo, Alec and team as ever for this little piece of heaven." RUTH & DAVID TIMPERLEY
"We are gradually making our way through all the cottages, our 6th one to date. I do think this one is special, so very peaceful apart from the odd owl at night and the sheep bleating in the day... Thank you to Linda, Bevis & their wonderful team who always bring a smile to our faces when we walk through the door, it really is a very special place." VALERIE & TONY MOULD, DEVIZES, WILTSHIRE
"We have lost count of the number of times we have visited Treworgey (think it's about 14!)... Trelawney Barn is the best yet... OUTSTANDING! Even our 21 month old daughter, Theoni, loves it, sleeping an amazing 14 hours on her first night! We will see you again soon ... " LIZ, MARTIN & THEON!
"It is a little sad leaving Orchard Cottage after a few days. We have never felt so relaxed and comfortable. Many thanks" SIMONE, BARRY & TESS THE BORDER COLLIE
"What a lovely cottage. Everything we needed and more! Thanks to all at Treworgey for being so friendly and helpful." PAUL, SINEAD, CONNOR, JACK& BUMP MITCHELL
"What a fantastic honeymoon week! We haven't really needed to travel far away as everything is so perfect here -the view's amazing and surprises us every time we look out. Can't wait to re-book -we have had the perfect honeymoon. Thank you to everyone here!" DAN, SHARON & PHOEBE DESTECROIX
"Lois-what a little treasure! Cosy, charming and with a view to die for. Like many others-we wish we could take it home! See you next year," BERYL & KEITH O'CONNELL
"Who cares if it rains with a dream cottage like this! A great excuse to light the lovely fire and soak in the wonderful cosy atmosphere. " CAROLINE WEAVER.
"I have to admit that I thought it would be boring stuck here in the middle of nowhere .... but we have swum (the pool is luscious, even if it's cold outside) and traveled to beaches, cinema, bowling and been biking and riding. You can walk to Sandplace station (10 mins) and catch a train to Looe or lots of places." LUCY WILLIAMSON (AGED 15)

Spa treatments, well definitely don't book one treatment! With Cheryl's expertise and wonderful relaxing treatments you will definitely want more! However maybe I shouldn’t say or she will be totally booked up when we come!
