Your holiday in Cornwall with a kids club
Every week in the school holidays we run three fantastic clubs for children at Treworgey (subject to interest, but there is usually plenty of that!). Our enthusiastic and friendly riding instructors Indie and Hester, and expert Forest School Leader Gemma Sandercock run these clubs and the kids have the time of their lives.
Outside the school hols, from mid April to mid-July, we run our Trotting Tots Club (free) for pre-schoolers once a week.
Pony Clubs cost £30 each per child. Pony Clubs are for children aged 5 years and over. Children of 5 and 6 years must bring a parent.
Please note: We will contact you a few days before your arrival to confirm days and times of clubs that we can offer for your stay, you will be able to sign your children up at that point.
Pony Clubs (Usually Monday and Tuesday afternoons 2-4pm)
A fun-packed two hours where children can learn all about ponies and get hands on practice at grooming and tacking up with lots of pony pampering. They will get to join in with our fantastic mounted games or other riding activities.
Pony Clubs are for children aged 5 years and over. Children of 5 and 6 years must bring a parent.
You are most welcome to sign up for both pony clubs, but please note that places are limited. Occasionally we may have to get in touch to restrict children to just one of the two days to ensure that everyone gets to take part.
Forest School (Usually Wednesday afternoons)
Calling all adventurers! Learn how to light a fire without matches; build dens in the woods; try your hand at bushcraft; play woodland games; learn survival skills and cook on a campfire with expert Forest School Leader Gemma Sandercock.
Forest School costs £13 per child. We need just a few parents to volunteer to come along!
Trotting Tots Club - FREE!
On Monday mornings from mid April to mid-July (excluding school holidays) we run our Trotting Tots Club. This is around an hour where pre-schoolers (5yrs and under) can get to know our ponies, brush them, stroke them or just feel their different textures of fur, skin and mane, followed by pony rides for everyone. This club is free but please sign up at the office (or call us) by the day before. Little ones, please bring along a grown-up to help supervise you and to hold you when you're riding.
